Robbie’s title hopes took a massive blow today, after he was taken out by another rider on lap 1. He can only hope for better luck heading into the final double
header at Brands Hatch in 2 weeks time, where he hopes he can re-kindle
his title hopes and come away with the title.
Robbie has provisionally qualified in 3rd Position for Sunday’s race here at Silverstone.
Robbie started the day well, finishing 5th overall in free practice 1. However, knowing he needs to capitalise on his current form, he was in need of a good qualifying session.
Celebration is in order tonight after Robbie took race victory by over 8 seconds today at Croft. Robbie led the race almost from start to finish after passing Jimmy Hill on the second corner.
Robbie has provisionally qualified in 4th Positions for the Saturday race at Croft this weekend. The heavens opened minutes before qualifying and the team members were frantically trying to get the wets on the machine.
