Robbie Brown Racing is at Knockhill for the 7th round of the Bennetts British Superbike, but unfortunately, its a slow start for Robbie.
Robbie went out for practice one hoping to be fighting at the front, but unfortunetely it was not meant to be. With a few teething problems and also traffic issues preventing Robbie putting in a fast lap, he finished the session in 18th.
"Its really frustrating being at the front of the field at Oulton, and then to be barely inside the top 20 at the next round. The bike did'nt feel right and it was hard work getting it to handle how i wanted. We changed a few settings but unfortunately we run out of time. Still, it could be worse, there were quite a few crashers in the session who will be fixing their bikes over night, I'm glad I aren't one of them. For now, its time to put my thinking cap on and see what needs changing ahead of tomorrow." Commented a disapointed Robbie
So now its onto getting the bike setup right ahead of Qualifying 1 tomorrow. Where Robbie and the team hope to be running at the front.

Knockhill Good pace in the wet Robbie, keep it up for final qualifying and for Sundays race.
Robbie was featured in his local newspaper this week, explaining his last victory of the season at Brands Hatch, and also his possible options for next season. Read the whole thing here:
After a disappointing finish in race 1 at Brands Hatch, where Robbie finished in a mediocre 6th Position, things weren’t looking too good for race 2. Robbie remained confident and changed a few things ahead of morning warm-up, which helped improve his times on very old tyres.
Robbie head into Brands Hatch, hoping to take the outside chance and win the 2008 Junior Superstock series, however, day 1 at the Kent circuit has proved difficult for Robbie.
