Robbie suffered heavily with traffic in the session, however he managed to put in a time 4th fastest before pulling into the pits, with 11 seconds to go.

“To be honest, I am happy with 4th, because I know I have the pace in the wet or dry. We had a reasonable session this morning in the dry, but I struggled with suspension settings which were later sorted ahead of QP1, but typically, the heavens opened and wets it was! The session went fairly well, but I struggled massively with traffic, and when you are following someone its very hard to see because of all the spray.
I pulled into the pits thinking I would be able to wait for clear track, but when I pulled in it said 11 seconds to go, which is a shame, but my mistake!
Looking onto tomorrow, hopefully it will be dry in the morning and I should be able to improve on my position, I feel very confident for tomorrows race and hopefully we won’t have any issues!” Explained Robbie

So now it’s a waiting game overnight ahead of QP2, where Robbie hopes to improve his position ahead of the Saturday race whether it is wet or dry.
